My Approach

Looking beyond the symptom

Movement, fascia, joints, organs, fluids and the nervous system constantly influence one another. When something changes in one area, other parts of the body may adapt to it.

This is why the place where you feel pain isn't always the only place that needs attention.

My role is to look at the bigger picture, understand the relationships that may be relevant to your presentation, and use the most appropriate techniques for what I find.

Why choose FLO?

Every person - and every body - is different. That's why I don't follow a single technique or predetermined treatment protocol. Treatments are:

Integrated / Holistic - I draw from a broad range of manual and soft-tissue techniques, combining musculoskeletal and remedial therapy with other manual approaches such as Visceral Manipulation, Neural Manipulation amongst others where appropriate.

Tailored - Your treatment is shaped around your presentation, your history and what I find during assessment. The approach can change from one session to the next as your body and symptoms change.

Empathic - I take the time to listen—not only to your symptoms, but to your experience of them. Understanding what you are feeling and what matters to you is an important part of the treatment process.

Inclusive - There is no “one right way” for a body to move or function. I aim to create a respectful, judgement-free environment where you can feel comfortable discussing your concerns and actively participating in your care.

Whether you're recovering from an injury, living with persistent pain, experiencing recurring discomfort, or simply wanting to understand your body better, my aim is to help you move with greater ease and support your body's capacity to adapt.

Flo grew from a lifelong curiosity—a practice built on careful observation, clinical reasoning and a genuine appreciation for the remarkable capacity of the human body to adapt.
